FutureSports has inked a deal with Major League Baseball (MLB) to launch performance-based financial indexes for all 30 MLB franchises, marking the company’s latest expansion into professional sports markets.

As part of the accord, MLB will supply FutureSports with official league data “that the company will use to create new broad-based CME FutureSports Performance Indexes (FSPI)” on each MLB team. Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.

CME Group (NASDAQ: CME) and the index provider announced a partnership in July. With the MLB deal in place, the exchange operator will offer derivatives based on the baseball indexes.

The IAGR Conference is themed “Steady Hands, Changing Ground: Advancing Regulation in a Connected World”. Sessions will focus on strengthening cross-jurisdictional cooperation and developing more effective regulatory responses to the rapid transformations within the global gaming and betting landscape.

Following a down year in Las Vegas, where visitor volume slowed 7.5%, the casino town has stabilized and rebounded in 2026, albeit only slightly. The LVCVA says visitor volume was up 0.5% through July.

Room rates for Strip properties have increased 3.5% in 2026. Strip occupancy is flat from a year ago.
